The fastest debut time ever is 36.52 by Jonathan Garcia, but that was at altitude in Salt Lake City, so 37.10 is definitely really good.
Thank you!
Will info like this be accessible anywhere online?
And what about other cryptostatistical trivia like:
1. World records beaten in later parts
2. Fastest 500 openers
Do you (or others) know of online sources?
I also have lists of the fastest openers ever skated on the 500m and 1000m since 97-98, and so far I have been able to find a grand total of:

We didn’t get a single sub-10.3 opener in the past two seasons, which is very rare. The last time that happened two seasons in a row was in 02-03 and 03-04.
(reposting this because when I tried editing it it disappeared)
Currently my collection is still private, but I am planning to make a website for it eventually.

There are a few races I don’t know the pairs of, so the following world records might have been improvements on a previous world record set during the same competition, but that all depends on who skated first.
1:10.34 by Jeremy Wotherspoon at a Weekend Race on 08-11-1997
3:48.91 by Bart Veldkamp at the Olympic Oval Finale 1998Again: Thank you so much!
